New Holiday Flavors!!!!

I can't even believe that it is already December! Where has the yr. gone? I know, I haven't been the best blogger lately,I appologize. I have been doing my research & testing & am hapy to bring to you 4...yes 4 new holiday flavors!!!!

Peppermint Bliss- a dark chocolate cake w/ a hint of pepper falvor topped w/ a silky creamcheese frosting sprinkled w/ crushed candy cane.

Sweet Bubbly- a luscious champagne cake filled w/ an orange curd, topped wth a smooth cahmpagne butter cream frosting....my version of a mimosa!

Ginger Twist- A yummy pear cake with a hint of crystalized ginger, topped with a honey buttercream.

Cran-Orange Delight- a yellow cake with dried cranberries mixed in topped off with a smooth orange buttercream.

**Remember all cupcakes can be made as a custom order ( decorated to your events theme. ) or left as they are. There is no price difference!!!**

Busy,busy,busy!!!

Over this past weekend I managed to bake 6 dozen cupcakes, frost them & make pretty fondant decoration for them! Boy, what a work load!!! Exhausted as I was, I loved every minute of it! I'm so happy that Ms. Ava & family loved her Hannah Montana cupcakes! The party was a blast!!!

Also, a super huge thank you to Ms. Jessi Barton, for trusting me to make cupcakes for her Relay for Life More Birthday's Event!!! I really enjoyed making these!

I have finally finished my flyer's & will be taking them around town tomorrow! I'm so excited! I am slowly gaining more orders, & can't wait to get them to my customers! Tomorrow (Oct. 18th) is national chocolate cupcake day...so I'm baking a batch to celebrate! I'm also gonna be baking some pumpkin, & banana cupcakes!!! I'll post pictures ASAP!

Here goes nothing!!!

Wow! Ok, I am up & running! Finkle's Bake Shop has offically opened! I know there are no pictures up yet, but I will posting some tomorrow.

So last week I was thinking, I am never going to get to open my bakery! Then it hit me, why not  go online? So...here I am!  I'm extremly new to this whole "blogging" thing, so please be patient! I also know, for you grammer buff's (Stacy, my sister), I am terrible with grammer, so I'm sure you will notice tons of sentence fragments what nots. Sorry. I explained this to my professor last week as a loose wire in my brain. I also explained how I would be more successful repairing an engine while using a French instruction manual. :)

Back to the bake shop. My goal is to take the stress out of celebrations for you. I am specializng in cupcakes but will also be doing other yummy treats. I am currently working on pricing, but will be reasonible. You will not be paying $50 for a dozen cupcakes.

A lot of the site is under construction, so to speak, but I felt that I needed to go ahead & get myself out there.

I am curently taking orders. All I ask is that you give at least 1 weeks prior notice to the event. I also will deliver to your location.  I will be posting a menu hopefully by this week & prices.

What is Finkles?

Hello all! Let me start off by saying thank you for visiting Finkle's Bake Shop! I have this section so you the customer can get to know a little bit about the baker, me!

My name is Stephanie Banks Fink, I am 23 y/o & am currently living in Ellijay,GA. I have lived here all of my life. I am 2005 graduate of GHS, (Gilmer High School). Where I spent my highschool years making memories,driving my mother crazy, & cheering on the field for the Bobcats!

 I met my husband,Michael Fink,  in March of 2005. Since then we have been together ever since. We were married June 18th, 2005, & then was blessed with our baby boy,Bryson Shane, December 17th,2005.We like to waste no time! He is my rock. We fight like cats & dogs, but I think that makes are relationship good. We are like salt & pepper, total opposites, but go perfect together. On December 18th, 2008 @ 9:30am, we welcomed into the world our fiesty little girl, Katie Leanna.

In 2006, I decided I would go back to school. So, I started North Metro Tech, in Acworth,GA. I was going for my Web Design degree. Well, as you can tell from the credits at the bottom, I never finshed, & withdrew after 1 full yr. I am now attending University of Phoenix online, for a Business degree. I plan on opening up shop in Ellijay one day, but feel that I need my business degree 1st.

I am a fun loving, hyper, creative, & outgoing person. I have a major shopping problem. I like to think of it as retail therapy! I am horrible at grammer, & am sure you find many mistakes throughout my blog! I love to read! I am a dedicated fan of the Twilight Saga Series! I also enjoy Facebook, sunshine,dancing, wine, tulips, vampires :[ lavendar, my childrens laughter, helping others, football, art, chocolate, twizzlers, poetry, Nascar, candles, libraries, sand in my toes, being near water, Kirklands, Paula Dean, & well...I could go on, but I'll stop for now.
